Government approved the energy master plan

​(CTTĐT-Dong Nai) - The Prime Minister has just approved the national energy master plan for the 2021-2030 period, with a vision to 2050.

The master plan's goal is firmly ensuring energy security for socio-economic development. In the field of equitable energy conversion, the plan strives for the proportion of renewable energy (wind, solar, waste...) in the total primary energy to reach 15-20% in 2030 and about 80-85% in 2050.

The plan also offers 6 groups of solutions, including mechanisms and policies; environment, science and technology; organize and monitor the implementation of the plan effectively. In the past, the development of renewable energy had not been commensurate with its potential due to unsustainable mechanisms and policies; inefficient power transmission infrastructure in many places; uneven supply development… ​
