Ready to begin the construction of key work items

​(TTĐT- Dong Nai) – Passenger terminals, takeoff and landing routes, and hangars are the most important work items in the construction of Long Thanhh International Airport phase 1. ​

The construction of Long Thanh Airport’s terminals is planned to begin in August, 2023 

The construction of the passenger terminal of Long Thanh Airport phase 1 is the most important item of the whole project. This is also the work that will gauge the project's progress. 
According to the original plan, the passenger terminal of Long Thanh Airport phase 1 would be constructed in 2022. However, due to difficulties in bidding, the construction of this project could not commence as planned.
In June 2023, the ACV just completed the bidding for package 5.10 - construction and installation of equipment for passenger terminal at Long Thanh Airport phase 1 in the second bid invitation.
Recently, ACV has also focused on bidding evaluation and contractor selection to soon start this important project.

Mr. Nguyen Tien Viet, Deputy General Director of ACV, said that in July, ACV had judged and selected contractors for package 5.10. By August, the construction of the passenger terminal of Long Thanh Airport will begin its first phase.

Along with the passenger terminal project, in July, ACV had also selected a contractor to construct the runways of Long Thanh Airport phase 1.

As for the aircraft apron, ACV is expected to complete the bidding and selection of contractors in August. By September, this item's construction is expected to begin.
