According to information from the Department of Industry and Trade, the Industrial Production Index in October 2021 is expected to increase by more than 11.2% compared to the previous month. In particular, the mining industry increased by more than 5%; the processing and manufacturing industry increased by nearly 11%; the electricity, gas, hot water and steam production and distribution sector increased by nearly 26% (this sector increased sharply due to the demand for electricity of enterprises after operation again); Water supply and waste treatment and wastewater increased by about 8%. Accumulated in the 10 months of 2021, the industrial production index is estimated to increase by 3.3% over the same period (the target for the whole year increased by 7-8%), this is the lowest increase in many years. It is expected that in the last two months of the year, the industrial production index will have high growth because enterprises are recovering production.
