On December 16th, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Cao Tien Dung received the Consulate General of the Kingdom of Cambodia in Ho Chi Minh City as Mr. Sok Dareth paid a courtesy visit.

At the meeting, Deputy Secretary and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Cao Tien Dung said that many enterprises of Dong Nai have chosen to invest in Cambodia over the past time. Dong Nai province has signed a cooperation agreement with Kampong Thom province of Cambodia. In the coming time, the two provinces will sign cooperation agreements in the period of 2020-2025, in the new signing, they will cooperate more widely in many fields. The provincial leaders hope that through the Consul General, he will act as a bridge for the Vietnamese people in general and Dong Nai province in particular to engage more closely with the Cambodian people as well as the people of Kampong Thom province. "Dong Nai has no border with Cambodia but through the relationship of the two countries, the two provinces always have exchanges to support each other for development" - Deputy Secretary and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Cao Tien Dung shared.

At the meeting, Consulate General of the Kingdom of Cambodia in Ho Chi Minh City - Sok Dareth thanked Dong Nai Province for always paying good attention to the Cambodian people in general and the people of Kampong Thom province in particular. In particular, Dong Nai province has supported Cambodian students to study in Vietnam. Mr. Sok Dareth appreciated the increasing number of Vietnamese enterprises investing in Cambodia, including Dong Nai enterprises. He also congratulated Vietnam on the implementation of a major project, Long Thanh International Airport in Dong Nai, when this international airport completes Cambodian people in transit and long-haul flights in Vietnam will be more convenient.
