Comply with Resolution 94/2015 / QH13 of the National Assembly, Long Thanh International Airport (CHK) is required to apply modern technologies in its construction, management and operation like other advanced international airports over the world, ensuring synchronization in its operations according to safety, convenience, quality and efficiency criterion.
Before submitting the feasibility study report of the Project (FS) to the State Evaluation Council, the Ministry of Transportation has recently requested the JFV Consulting Joint Venture (the organization that prepares the feasibility study report), Airports Corporation of Vietnam (ACV), Aviation Department to review all items, applied the most modern science and technology to the airport and to flight management.
According to JFV, Long Thanh International Airport shall be equipped with the latest modern systems such as passenger procedure system, baggage clearance procedure system, automatic entry and exit procedure system, automatic aircraft entrance... In addition, Long Thanh International Airport also has a centralized database system, designed for smart airport to manage all the data of the airport (information about flights, flight operators, immigration, customs ...) which helps the managers to allocate and operate the entire airport (aircraft entrances, location to perform procedures, takes-off and landing…) in the most efficient manner, airport operators can monitor, detect, and handle security issues quickly and efficiently. Long Thanh International Airport also uses artificial intelligence technology to improve passenger service quality, enhance security and safety for the airport.
