(CTT-Dong Nai) - In 2022, durian was officially exported to the world's largest consumer market, China. Accordingly, in the harvest of 2023, durian prices are constantly at a high level.

Specifically, at the beginning of the season, durian sold at the garden for
more than 100,000 VND/kg. During the harvest season, even though the supply is
large, traders from all over the provinces and cities flocked to Dong Nai in
order to buy durians before other traders did, so farmers could still sell them
for 50-55 thousand VND/kg, nearly twice as high as compared to the same period
of previous years. At this price, durian farmers earned a profit of billions of
VND per hectare.
In recent years, durian has earned its place among the top earners in the group
of fruit trees in particular, and crops in general.
