Provincial leaders suggested the UMP HCMC sending a document with a drawing attached to the Provincial People's Committee so they could report to the Standing Board of the Provincial Party Committee. After the procedures are completed, the Ministry of Health and the school are requested to soon begin the implementation to keep up with the construction of Long Thanh Airport.
Deputy Minister of Health – Mr. Le Duc Luan, and the school's leader, the Director of the University of Medicine and Pharmacy at Ho Chi Minh city Hospital, said that the school's current facilities do not meet the needs of training and medical examination and treatment of patients. Therefore, the Ministry of Health hopes that Dong Nai province will arrange more land in Tan Hiep commune and Long Thanh district for the Ministry of Health to invest in building the University of Medicine and Pharmacy HCMC Hospital, and its 2nd campus, with a scale of 500 hospital beds in parallel with the construction of the school's training facility.

Mr. Cao Tien Dung, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, emphasized that Dong Nai province fully supports this policy of the Ministry of Health and the UMP HCMC. The province very much wishes to have a high-quality hospital in the area to both meet the medical examination and treatment needs of the people and commensurate with the development of the province when Long Thanh Airport comes into operation.
