The province’s 2 most exported products in the first half of 2023

​(CTT-Dong Nai) - According to Deputy Directress of Dong Nai Statistics Department – Mrs. Le Thi Hoa Hong, in the first 6 months of 2023, in the province, there are 2 groups of goods with export turnover exceeding 1 billion USD, namely footwear and machinery equipment, tools and spare parts. In which, footwear export turnover reached nearly 2.1 billion USD, equaling more than 80% over the same period last year; while export of machinery, equipment, tools and spare parts is more than 1.1 billion USD, equaling 83% over the same period in 2022.

Thus, both of the above export products decreased sharply compared to the previous year. The reason is that output is shrinking due to major markets such as the United States, Europe, Japan, and China have all reduced their orders with factories and manufacturers in Dong Nai as well as the whole country. According to businesses in the two sectors above, the shortage of order will likely last until 2024.​
