Dong Nai increasingly attracts more FDI

Boss Industry Co., Ltd. in Song May Industrial Park (Trang Bom district) expanding production to increase their exports of machinery equipment. 

(CTTĐT-Dong Nai) –  In nearly first half of 2023, foreign direct index (FDI) attraction reached over 623,2 million USD, almost doubled the amount in the same period in 2022. There were 33 new projects with a total registered capital of nearly 109 million USD and 44 capital increase projects with a total additional capital of 514.45 million USD. Most of the new FDI projects are located in industrial parks of the province.

Since the beginning of 2023, in term of investment scale, there have been 3 major projects with over 10 million USD in capital, including: the production plan from Evertie Lighting Viet Nam Co., Ltd. in Nhon Trach VI Industrial Park (Nhon Trach district) with a registered investment of 27 million USD; the 12 million USD project Asia Blending factory project in An Phuoc Industrial Park (Long Thanh district); and the planned APVN Sealing factory in Ho Nai Industrial Park (Trang Bom district) with an estimated 10 million USD investment.

In terms of industries attracting investment, the main industries are supporting industries, food and energy. Most of the attracted FDI projects are environmentally friendly, non-labor intensive technologies, ensuring the criteria for advanced technology. ​
