_ In the spirit of hard work, provincial Party’s Standing Committee of the localities carried out criticism and self-criticism strictly and seriously under Central Resolution 4 (term XI)
For three days (September 13th - 15th), the Municipal Party’s Standing Committee of Hai Phong city held a conference on the self-criticism and criticism over Municipal Party’s Standing Committee’s members in the spirit of the Central Resolution 4.
The conference took place in the spirit of true assessment and objectiveness without trace of neglect or avoidance; it was to make clear strengths and especially the limitations, shortcomings and causes, the responsibility of the Municipal Party’s Standing Committee over three pressing issues clearly showed in the Central Resolution 4.
Previously, along with directing the implementation of Central Resolution 4 seriously and correctly, Municipal People’s Committee of Hai phong city focused on directing socio-economic tasks in 2012 to be carried out applying synchronous methods; timely handling a number of new arising issues or public concerns; making general reports and collecting opinions of collectives and individuals working with the Municipal Party’s Standing Committee and commissioners of Municipal Party’s Standing Committee; preparing a draft report on criticism over the collective of Municipal Party’s Standing Committee; preparing a draft report on collecting comments and ideas... sticking to the three pressing issues of the Central Resolution 4.
Within two days (September 15-16), Binh Duong Provincial Party’s Standing Committee held a conference on criticism over individual comrades in the Committee.
The focal point of this phase emphasizes three main issues: Preventing and fighting against degradation of political ideology, ethics and lifestyle, enhancing Party's leadership capacity and combativeness; creating leaders and managers of all levels to meet the requirements in the period of industrialization, modernization and international integration; Implementing the principle of democratic centralism, collective leadership, individual responsibility, individual rights and responsibilities in performing their obligations, reforming the Party's leadership.
