It is known that this project of electric transmission line across Dong Nai province has a total length of 146 km with 319 foundations which need to be built; however, only 268 out of which have been constructed until now, which means there are still 51 ones are pending to be built. Besides, many other high voltage electricity systems across Dong Nai include: Song May 500kv substation, Nhon Trach 500kv substation and connector; Nhon Trach - Cat Lai 220kv power line…The main reasons for slow construction of the projects are some problems and bottlenecks in compensation for ground clearance. Some households were persistent in waiting for approval on relocation instead of accepting compensation offer, the others said that their ground was large, the compensation rate however is low compared to the market price and the value of trees planted within the areas; some provinces have not finished compensation plans due to map deviation…

Making his speech at the conference, Vice Chairman of Provincial People’s Committee Tran Minh Phuc emphasized, all projects mentioned above are among the key national projects, provinces therefore are required to actively implement the work of calculation and pricing, completing dossiers and plans for compensation. Local governments, investors and other relevant authorities must effectively cooperate to solve current problems and bottlenecks in the compensation for ground clearance in order to make sure that these projects are able to be handed over as scheduled.
