Dong Nai plans to hold launching ceremony of "Action month for hygiene and food safety" in 2013.

Accordingly the launching ceremony of the “action month for hygiene and food safety 2013" with the theme "Food Safety in dining hall" will give the first strike to the campaign of ensuring food safety in the action-months in 2013 in order to encourage all ministries, departments, authorities, organizations and the whole society to participate in the practice of food hygiene and safety, focusing on complying with the Law on food safety and normative documents for food safety.

As for the request for the launching ceremony, the plan clearly states that the “action month for the food hygiene and safety" in 2013 by the interdisciplinary  Central Steering Committee for food safety in Dong Nai will be held formally in order to ensure effectiveness, contributing to raising awareness of the community about food safety.

The provincial people’s committee also approved the time, location and program for the launching ceremony; delegates present at the ceremony were the Central leaders, 194 representatives from all provinces including Prime Minister Nguyen Thien Nhan, and leaders of many ministries; mass media organizations, the press, international delegates, representatives from neighboring provinces; Dong Nai sent 190 delegates to attend, including: leaders of the provincial Party Committee and other party units , Dong Nai provincial leaders, leaders of the Department of Health, Department of food safety, the branch on food safety of the Department of Health, all sub branches of Health Department, all departments and branches of Dong Nai province, leaders of the people’s committee of many units and towns of Long Khanh, leaders of some ward committee of  Bien Hoa city, many other units attended the launching ceremony.

Besides, the People’s Committee assigned relating units on the basis of their functions and authorities to implement the proposed plan; and all departments are expected to actively come up with the detailed plan, estimating necessary budget for Health Department to conduct the aggregation;  the Health Department in collaboration with the Department of Finance will consider, evaluate and give instructions on payment as prescribed.
