Here are the comments of Vice Minister of Planning and Investment: “I think that there are many new things in this investment promotion trip to the US of Dongnai province. Dongnai has carefully prepared from trivial things to important things such as inside and outside procedures, document, and brochure. The most significant thing is that Dongnai has closely cooperated with American partners in preparing for the trip. For example, in the seminar in Washington DC, Dongnai invited American investors who have been doing their business in Dongnai to talk about investment environment in Dongnai, particularly the presences of agencies such as OPIC and Exim Bank which is the two important agencies in support the business of US privates firms. This increases the trust of US investors in Vietnam in general and Dongnai in particular.”

To solve the post-seminar matters, Vice Minister said that “I think that the success of these seminars just is the initial results. The important thing is to keep on implementing their commitments to investors. I have exchange with Mr. Tran Dinh Thanh, Chairman of Dongnai People’s Council, and Ms. Dang Thi Kim Nguyen, vice chairwoman of Dong Nai People’s Committee, on implementing solutions to questions made by investors in these seminars. All enterprises in Dongnai and Dongnai’s functional agencies will closely coordinate with Ministry of Planning and Investment to keep trace of potential investors so as to help them with their investment in Vietnam. To do this, we have a lot of things to do. I hope that through ministry of Planning and Investment and our representatives in Vietnam Embassy in Washington DC, Dongnai will continue to implement its works after these trips”.
