Dong Nai held meeting to mark the 60th anniversary of the National Day.

 

Participants at the meeting were Mr. Le Hoang, member of the Central Party, Steering Deputy Secretary of Ho Chi Minh’s Party Committee, Mr. Tran Dinh Thanh, General Secretary of provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the provincial People’s Council, Mr. Le Hong Phuong, Steering Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee, Mr. Vo Van Mot, Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee, Mr. Duong Min Nga, member of standing committee of the provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the provincial Fatherland Front Committee, members of standing committee of the provincial Party Committee, leaders of government agencies and departments, heroic mothers, heroes of People’s Arm Force, Revolution veterans and peoples from all walks of life in the province.

At the meeting, Mr. Vo Van Mot had given a speech to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the national day. The speech points out the significant meaning of the August Revolution. With the victory of the August revolution, our country becomes an independent and liberal country and people, once were slaves, has become the master of the country and can control their own destinies.

For the past 60 years, The Party has always attached great importance to the construction and perfection of our government in order to build a transparent and strong country.

To celebrate the 60th anniversary of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, The Party Committee and people of Dong Nai province has strived to fulfill the targets and assignments of the Resolution approved by the provincial Party Congress and to make Dong Nai become an industrial province by 2010.

The opening speech follows by a program to stage the 60 years of development and construction of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam performed by 300 artists and actors.

On the occasion, the Provincial Board for Important Public Holidays will commend units and individuals who are winners of the contest entitled “60 years of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam”.
