New Zealand Consul General Peter Healey visits Dong Nai

He was warmly received by Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People’s Committee Dang Thi Kim Nguyen.

Mrs. Dang Thi Kim Nguyen took this opportunity to enhance the provincial economic and social advancement and the province’s advantages as a place to do business for foreign investors. She also pointed out that FDI inflows into the province are on upward trend. She hoped that more New Zealand businesses will be encouraged to invest in Dong Nai in the near future by Mr. Peter Healey. He also expressed his desire to further promote trade ties and cooperation between Dong Nai province and New Zealand businesses for mutual benefit. Besides, he told that New Zealand’s NTL Company is a mineral resources group, specializing in the mining of metals, gold, coal… to pay special attention to gold mining project at Hieu Liem commune, Vinh Cuu district, Dong Nai province. He said that there is a commitment made by NTL Company to secure forest resources for the future and create stable jobs for local labor force if the project is approved by Vietnam Government and local authorities.
