The first seminar of Dong Nai investment promotion successfully held in New York.

At 9am New York times September 23rd, the first seminar was held at Grand Hyatt in central New York.

Addressing the opening ceremony, Vietnamese Ambassador to the United States Le Luong Minh confirmed the great potentials of the US market and the capacity of US investors. The ambassador highly appreciated Dong Nai’s dynamism in organizing its own delegation for trade and investment promotion.

Mr. Tran Dinh Thanh represented at the seminar the potential and strength of Dong Nai with the convenient geographical location and a completing system of infrastructure, and in particular, the provincial leaders’ wholehearted supports for foreign investors. The province has done its best to true itself into a safe destination for investors. The delegation head’s belief was strongly fostered by the remarks made at the seminar by foreign investors who have already set up their businesses in Dong Nai. The US investors participating in the seminar showed interests in Dong Nai and pushed many questions. Their concerns included the protection of intellectual properties, infrastructure investment and development, transport, electricity, water supply, industrial waste treatment and real estate market. They also showed interests in investment procedures in business establishment, amendment to investment licenses, post license administrative procedures, industries with investment preferential, land-leasing prices and taxation policies. Their questions are satisfactorily answered by relevant members of promotion delegation.

After New York, the delegation is scheduled to visit several other localities in the United States. And four more seminar of different scale will be held there.
