16 Contestants to Compete In The Provincial Final Round Of The Contest on “Stories About Ho Chi Minh’s Moral Example”

The organization board of the contest “Telling Stories About Ho Chi Minh’s Moral Example”, held sum-up conference to evaluate results of the contest on the morning of July 8th, 2008 – the provincial semi-final round. Le Hong Phuong, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Vo Van Mot, Chairman of the Dong Nai provincial People’s Committee attended the conference.

17 of 20 units in the province held 244 grassroots level contests. 3 of them selected and appointed contests for the district-level contest and equivalent. In addition to 16 units of districts, towns, cities, and Party committees under the Provincial Party Committee organizing contests for their members, there were other unions and branches, namely the Provincial Labor Union, Department of Education and Training, provincial Youth Union, Veteran Association of the province, raising the total of units holding district-level contests and equivalent to 20. By early May 2008, 20 of 20 units organized district-level contests and equivalent, attracting 1,016 contestants to join and about 16,000 cadres, Party members, youth union members, and supporters to come to the contests. The organization board selected 16 excellent contestants among 47 contestants competing in the provincial semifinal round to participate in the provincial final round.

The final round will be divided into 2 stages. Stage 1 is story-telling final round to be held on July 15, 2008. Stage 2 is the oral final round. 8

contestants competing in the oral final round will draw lots to choose a situation of 12 ones defined by the organization board for storytelling. Time allowed for each contestant’s storytelling is 5 minutes. In the storytelling process, it is necessary for contestants to pay attention to persuasiveness and skill of making people moved.

After this contest, the organization board selected some excellent contestants to participate in the regional primary round organized by the Central Department of Propaganda and Training.

3. NguyenVan Cuong-Cam My district ( 49.9 points).

4. Nguyen Hai Ha –Thong Nhat district (51.1 points).

5. Luu Thi Ngoc Que- Trang Bom district ( 50.5 points).

6. Nguyen Thi Dung- Vinh Cuu district ( 53.6 points).

7. Ngo Thi Thach – Tan Phu district ( 52.5 points).

8. Hoac Cong Son – Dinh Quan district (51.9 points).

9. Luu Thanh Thao Ly – Nhon Trach district ( 51.6 points).

10. Hoang thi Minh Thuong – Long Thanh district ( 51.6 points).

11. Nguyen Thi Truc Tu – Bien Hoa ( 52.6 points).
