Implementation of Party’s resolutions and directives in Vinh Cuu inspected

    Speaking at the working session, Toi highly praised the efforts of the local authorities and people in implementing Party’s resolutions and directives over the first six months of this year. Accordingly, the Vinh Cuu district has fulfilled and surpassed the set targets; particularly, its GDP in the first half reached VND965.7 billion or 50.19 percent of the year’s plan, state budget revenues was estimated at VND48.7 billion or a 21 percent increase over the estimates. Besides, the district has managed to carry out regulations on compensation, relocation of residents, administrative reform, corruption and wastefulness prevention, and complaint settlement.

    He also expressed his hope that the district would continue to promote its strengths and advantages to fulfill its socio-economic targets for 2008, with a focus on developing Party personnel, reducing traffic accidents, and especially enhancing the collective strength, etc.
