The contest’s content includes 2 parts: telling stories and answering questions made by the judging panel. Each contestant sent his or her outline to the organizing board in advance. As for telling stories alone, each could tell 1-2 stories about President Ho Chi Minh together with vivid illustration. The contest aimed to widely popularize Ho Chi Minh’s thought on revolutionary virtues among cadres and civil servants. Accordingly, participants had an opportunity to practise their oral presentation skills as well as their political thought.
The organizing board awarded 11 prizes to excellent contestants. The first prize was given to Vu Thi Tuyet Mai (Hoa Sen kindergarten). The two
second prizes were awarded to Nguyen Thi To Chinh (Dong Nai rubber company) and Phan Thi Huong (Song Ray high school). The three third prizes belonged to Tran Thi Tin (Long Thanh Power Company), Nguyen Thi Xuan Vien (Le Thanh Ton high school, Dinh Quan district) and Nguyen Thi Kim Phuong (Song Ray high school).
