Interviews with some members of delegation and potential investors

Three important seminars in New York, Washington DC and Chicago attracted the participation of many American businesspeople. The Seminars were much more successful than expected. What causes such success? Minh Thanh, a reporter of the Dong Nai Radio and Television Station noted down ideas of the delegation members and visitors at the seminars.

Mr. Neil F. Hartigan, Chairperson of the Executive Board of the Chicago World Trade Centre: “The information we collected at the seminar was of great help. After watching the film and listening to the speech delivered by the Chairperson of the provincial People’s Council, we are able to see potentials and strength of Dong Nai province where not only enterprises but also elderly people can do business and make a living”.

These corporations are paying attention to putting investment into India, China and countries in South East Asia because of cheap labor cost and hardworking workers. The organizing of high-ranking investment promotion delegation from Dong Nai to New York, Washington DC and Chicago is a highly appreciated”.

With endless effort to improve investment environment, for many years Đồng Nai has become a safe, attractive destination for investors in many countries and territories worldwide. Unsatisfying with its achievements, Đồng Nai is striving to become an industrial province by 2015. In order to meet the target, the province has planned its development scheme and called for investment in hi-tech fields, in an effort to enhance the process of development. As a matter of fact, Dong Nai encourages American enterprises to put their potentials, capital investment and technologies into the province in the coming years.

And when the program is in progress, the Delegation still observes domestic and local information on the news program of the Dong Nai Radio and Television Station, updated on the websites of the provincial People’s Committee and the Department of Science and Technology. In response to the calling for relief, helping victims of Storm number Seven in the North and the Central of Vietnam, Head of the delegation motivated delegation members to donate 16 million dongs and over a hundred US dollars to help storm victims resolve the aftermath of the disaster.
