Department of Natural Resource and Environment launches action program to protect environment.

The conference had the participation of Mr. Mai A Truc, Minister of Natural Resource and Environment , and Mr. Ao Van Thinh, vice chairperson of provincial People’s Committee.  

The target of the program aims at encouraging all newly-built factories to apply clear production technologies and to install reducing-environment-pollution equipments; 100% enterprises which have export products requiring environment certificates will apply ISO 14000 standard system; 30 to 40% of the urban areas and 70% of industrial zones to have  waste water treatment centers; to collect and process 60% of dangerous waste and 100% of medical; 95% of population uses clear water; to enhance the quality of forest.

Mr. Truc is granting medals to officials

At the conference, 42 officials who have great contributions to the ministry were awarded the medal entitled “For the course of Natural Resources and Environment” by Natural Resource and Environment Ministry. On this occasion, the department of Natural Resource and Environment launched its official website at the address http://www.tnmtdongnai.gov.vn and released its newsletter to provide more information on the its activities on this field aiming to enhance its operations.
