A delegation of Taiwanese enterprises studies the investment environment in Dong Nai

In the morning of July 5th, a delegation of Taiwanese enterprises led by Mr. Theodore Huang, chairman of Taiwanese Industry and Commerce Association, arrived in Dong Nai to study investment environment in Dong Nai province. Vice chairperson of provincial People’s Committee Dang Thi Kim Nguyen received and worked with the delegation.

D-6706dailoanTaiwanese Industry and Commerce Association consists of 1,600 enterprises trading in the field of industry, telecommunication, electricity, electronic, etc... Presently, the Association has three investment projects in Long Thanh and Nhon Trach district producing materials for industries. According to Mr. Huang, chairman of Taiwanese Industry and Commerce Association, many Taiwanese enterprises was trending to expand their business in Dong Nai province. He unveiled that the goal of this visit to Dong Nai was to look for a location with total area of from 100 to 150 hectares to build and trade industrial zone.

Vice chairperson of provincial People’s Committee highly appreciates the association’s investment plan. She unveils that Dong Nai had planed 34 industrial zones, including 20 ones with the total area of 5,500 hectares that have been approved by the government. The province is now focusing on constructing infrastructure of industrial zones. She also suggested that the two sides should have a detail working session aiming to realize this project quickly and the provincial leaders could introduce the suitable location for the projects as well as necessary procedures for registering investment license.
