According to Dong Nai Customs Department, in the first eight months of 2014, turnover of import and export by Korean enterprises in Dong Nai has reached 2.3 billion USD, accounting for nearly 15% of total exports and imports of the province.
The tax amount related to import and export paid by these enterprises is nearly 389 billion VND, accounting for 10% of revenues at the Provincial Customs Departments.
Particularly in August, turnover of import and export of South Korean companies reached 293 million USD, accounting for 27% of total turnover of import-export of the province and paid to the budget 87 billion VND. Korean firms are operating in these fields, such as chemical, textile, garment, footwear, steel, mechanical engineering.
