Central economic commitee working in Dong Nai

​On the morning of July 31st, the delegation of the Central Economic Committee led by Mr. Pham Xuan Duong, member of the Party Central Committee, Standing Deputy Head of the Central Economic Committee had a working session with Dong Nai Province on the key tasks of economic development in the future. For the province, the representatives were member of the Party Central Committee, Provincial Party Committee Secretary Tran Dinh Thanh, Deputy Chairman of the PPC Tran Minh Phuc.


​As reported by the PPC at the meeting, in the period of 2011 - 2015, the total products in the province increased on average by 12%. The economic structure continues to shift in the right direction, the proportion of the construction, industry and services has been increasing. The field of science – technology and culture – society received more attention for development; the management of natural resources, environmental protection and social welfare policies have been implemented better. In addition, the province has focused on promoting administrative reform to facilitate the people and enterprises.

In terms of industrial development, until May 6th, 2014 Dong Nai province has established 31 industrial parks, of which 28 IPs were operated. The whole industry now attracts 543,000 employees. At present, the total licensed foreign investment projects are 1,400 with a total investment of over 25 billion dollars. Production capacity and level of industrial technology are gradually improved. Automated and semi-automated technology accounted for over 30%; mechanic and semi-mechanic technology accounted for 42% of the total.

 
 
 
In the period of 2016 - 2020, Dong Nai has achieved the objective of sustainable development in the direction of economic growth with environmental protection and social security guarantees, gradually improving the quality of lives. In particular, the main tasks are to mobilize investment capital to build the integrated economic - engineering infrastructures; attracting industrial investment selectively; developing the key service, etc.
Dong Nai has requested the Government to consider the additional issuance of investment incentives for the production of supporting industry; the division of regulatory ratio between the central budget and provincial budget for revenues and the issuance of appropriate policies for the province in the southern key economic, etc.
