Exports increases

According to Dong Nai Statistical Office, total export turnover of the province is estimated at over 9.2 billion USD (an increase of nearly 16% compared to the same period in 2013), imports about 8.9 billion USD (up 10%). Thus by the end of the third quarter of this year, Dong Nai has export surplus of about 300 million USD and this number will continue to be raised, because many enterprises in province have received large manufacturing orders for export until early 2015. Some of the major industries of the province such as shoes, textiles and export turnover large increase over the same period. In addition, agricultural products are coffee, cashew nuts, pepper exports also increased both in volume and value. 

Mr. Le Van Danh, Director of Department of Industry and Trade, said: “There are three main elements to help the province's export growth quite: a series of trade agreements in effect makes the tax many exports decreased to 0%;  Province strengthen trade promotion programs help enterprises expand into the markets which Vietnam are entitled to the preferential tax and customs; regularly organizes dialogue and promptly remove difficulties and obstacles for business ". Mr. Nguyen Van Cong, Deputy Director of Dong Nai Department of Taxation, said: “The difficulties and obstacles of the business tax has always been timely removed tax service to keep their mind on manufacturing”

Leading in new rural building

Up to now, provinces have 19 communes reached 19 criteria of new rural construction, including 15 communes in the province have been celebrating recognition and reward. Total capital mobilized for the construction of new rural from the beginning of the year is 1,200 billion VND, including funds from budgets and capital contributions by people. 35 communes had reached 14-18 new rural construction criteria. Xuan Loc District now leading in the movement of building new rural, 12/14 communes had accomplished with the criteria, are being reviewed for recognition as new rural district. This will be the first new rural district throughout the nation. It is expected that by 2015, province completed the construction of new rural in 35 target communes

Mr. Huynh Thanh Vinh, Deputy Director of Department of Agriculture and Rural Development comment, construction of new rural provincial with high results is because of the efforts of the people, and the participation of all political systems. According to some central leaders arriving in Dong Nai to work on the new rural construction program, province has created a breakthrough for focusing support to help people develop production, increasing income, economic improves, people are willing to contribute to road and other infrastructure projects. 

Investment attraction beyond year planning

According to Mrs. Bo Ngoc Thu, Director of Department of Planning, attracting foreign investment over 8 months reached nearly 1.2 billion USD, exceeded the year plan, an increase of over 30% compared to the same period in 2013. In particular, the province licensed 59 new projects with a total capital of nearly 421 million USD, 58 projects supplement capital 770 million USD. So far, the province has 1,116 projects with foreign investment with total capital of nearly 21 billion USD. Attracting investment capital in the country reached nearly 7,900 billion, up over 34%. 

Vice Chairman of Provincial People’s Committee Tran Minh Phuc note that departments continue to support enterprises to boost production, expand the export market, simultaneously notify the incentives and creating conditions to attract investment in province. The districts and towns focus invest in build new rural program. The commercial banks in the province should extend lending in the field of rural development in order to raise the living standards and spiritual for people in rural areas
