On August 29, Department of Industry and Trade coordinated with Ho Chi Minh branch of Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) to organize the dialogue and meeting conference with Dong Nai import and export enterprises about the procedures for import and export goods. Over 120 delegates representing 60 enterprises that have import-export activities in Dong Nai have participated.
The issue concerned by the import-export enterprises is the tax procedure, customs and certificates of origin for export goods.
According to the enterprise, the customs and tax procedures are still complicated to continue to shorten the processing time to help enterprises increase competitiveness in export. The procedures for granting C.O (Documentation for goods export) are still very complex, which cases get exemption of value added tax….
Most enterprises’ questions were answered by Customs Department, Department of Taxation and VCCI. The departments also said will continue to review and shorten the paperwork time for enterprises in upcoming time
