On August 21, at Office of Amata Group in Bangkok Capital (Thailand), Chairman of Dong Nai Province People’s Committee Dinh Quoc Thai and Mr. Vikrom Kromadit, Chairman of Managing Boards, CEO of Amata Group, signed cooperation agreement between the People's Committee of Dong Nai Province and Amata Group on the implementation of the project between the Dong Nai Province and Amata Group. Vietnamese Ambassador in Thailand attended.
The contents of the agreement states: Two sides agreed to set up strategic partnerships and committed to stable, long-term, sustainable partnerships on the basis of mutual trust and mutual benefit in the field of investment and other areas where the two parties concerned.
This is also the basis for two sides to coordinate project implementation of High Tech Zone and Urban Services Zone in Long Thanh District. Scale of the project is 1,285 hectares with total investment of about 530 million USD. When complete and put into use, the project will become the new urban area of international stature and to ensure harmonious development in social economic sustainability, environmental and urban landscapes. The project will be a model for urban and industry infrastructure developing particularly in Dong Nai province and Vietnam generally.
Speaking at the signing ceremony, Vikrom Kromadit told that Amata Corporation has invested in Dong Nai in the past 20 years and but nowhere laid so much in his feelings as Dong Nai. That's why he decided to invest the second project in Dong Nai.
