Information from the Department of Planning and Investment showed that foreign investment attraction in Dong Nai in the first 5 months reached nearly 809 million USD, reaching over 80% of the plan for the year. In which, there are 41 new projects with a total capital investment of nearly 400 million USD, 35 projects have registered for capital increase with the total amount being 409 million USD.
Particularly in May 2019, Dong Nai attracted more than 118 million USD. New investment projects and projects that registered for capital increase were mostly located in industrial parks, with said capital used to build factories producing export goods. From the beginning of the year until now, many countries and territories have been investing in the Province such as: Korea, Japan ... The investment was mostly for supporting industries, and this is in line with the types of industries that the Province is placing higher priority on.
