Attracting many companies
In the past years, the agricultural product and food processing industry has always been a major player among the key industries of Dinh Quan District. By 2018, the District had 440 agricultural product processing establishments, which marked a 1.7 times increase compared to 2011. According to many agricultural product processing companies, Dinh Quan has many favorable conditions to attract investors.

Mr. Liu Tac Sang, Director of Thuan Huong Production Trading Co., Ltd. (Phu Tuc Commune) said: “I want to invest in and construct a processing factory right in the raw material production area, Dinh Quan has an abundant source of fruits, especially bananas, jackfruit ... Although this is quite a remote area but the authority of the Province and the District all pay attention and support our company in its operation.

Mr. Dang Tuong Khanh, Director of Ca Cao Trong Duc Co., Ltd. (Phu Hoa Commune) told us: “At the present, the big cocoa field project that our company is carrying out at Dong Nai has had 468 hectares developed. Trong Duc also has 04 exemplary products voted by the consumers as high quality Vietnamese goods. Currently, dozens of "Made in Vietnam" products of our company are not only consumed well in the domestic market but has also been received well by difficult markets such as Japan and South Korea... "

In order to achieve this result, the company has invested millions of dollars in processing plants as well as raw material production areas. But this is still just the first stage, the company is continuing to invest in expanding both production lines and distribution channels in both domestic and international markets.
There will be a specialized industrial cluster for agricultural product and food processing industry.

Vice Chairman of Dinh Quan District People's Committee Tran Nam Bien assessed the situation: "Phu Tuc industrial cluster is situated a favorable location, and the investment in and construction of roads connected to the area as well as electricity systems for production have been completed." It is expected that this year, the road project that connects the industrial cluster to 03 Districts: Dinh Quan, Thong Nhat and Xuan Loc which have large agricultural raw material areas shall be implemented, creating facilities for transporting materials to the cluster.

Phu Tuc industrial cluster is planned on an area of more than 48 hectares. At the present, Dinh Quan District has compensated 40/46 households located in the area subject to site clearance. However, the implementation of the project still encounters some difficulties in compensation and site clearance, problems in mobilizing potential companies into the industrial cluster ...
It is expected that this industrial cluster shall use 60% of its industrial-purpose land for agricultural product and food processing; 40% of the remaining industrial-purpose land shall be used to build warehouses and cold storage to store and preserve raw materials before and after processing works, as well as some industries that have locality advantages. ..
