The Province shall begin promoting investment and trade activities in Japan in September 2019

​On June 24th, the Vice Chairman of the People’s Committee of the Province Mr. Tran Van Vinh worked with departments and agencies on Dong Nai's investment and trade promotion plan in Japan in the near future.

At the meeting, Dong Nai Industrial Zones Authority proposed to hold a conference on trade and investment promotion in Osaka in November, 2019. The Department of Industry and Trade proposed to organize the trade and investment promotion program in the middle of September. In which, two main activities are the trade promotion conference between Dong Nai and Japan companies in Tokyo and the Vietnamese festival held in Hokkaido – Japan, the events are to be organized by the Vietnamese Embassy in Japan from September 14th-16th, with the emphasis on the trade and investment promotion program.
The Vice Chairman of the People’s Committee of the Province Mr. Tran Van Vinh requested that investment and trade promotion activities should be held in September, 2019 instead. The Department of Industry and Trade should contact the Vietnamese Embassy in Japan to know the details of the Vietnamese festival program. From there, the Province shall make necessary considerations to organize investment and trade promotion program within the framework of the event. The Tokyo trade conference and investment promotion in Osaka will be held in accordance with the schedule and conditions of the delegation. After reviewing the plan, the departments should soon work together to confirm the time frame for the trip.
Currently, Japan is ranked 3rd among countries and territories investing in Dong Nai Province with a total registered capital of over USD 4.6 billion. Japanese companies mainly invest in the industrial sector.
