According to the Department of Industry and Trade, Dong Nai's export turnover of textile fibers and yarns in January 2022 is estimated at US$158 million, accounting for about 7.6% of the province's export turnover, up 31% over the same period last year. Some major export markets include: China with US$51 million, up 24% over the same period in 2021; South Korea with US$23 million, up 28%; Taiwan with US$12 million, up 100%; Bangladesh with US$10 million, up 100%; Indonesia with US$10 million, up 67%; etc.
Currently, Dong Nai's yarn and textile products have been exported to about 100 countries and territories around the world. Those items have maintained a high growth rate for 4 years, and becoming one of the 5 key export products of the province. In Dong Nai, fiber and textile production for domestic consumption and export market is largely in foreign-invested enterprises such as: Hyosung Group (Korea), Formosa (Taiwan)
