About 5 years ago, consumers around the world have focused on choosing energy-saving and environmentally friendly products. Therefore, in order to retain consumers and expand consumption markets, corporations have asked factories to fulfill orders, build energy saving roadmaps and step by step participate in the green economy.

According to Ms. Thanh, UPM Group has a roadmap to produce environmentally friendly products. In particular, UPM restricts the use of fossil materials and switches to materials that are less harmful to the environment. For example, in the past, UPM produced plastic from crude oil, but recently switched to using planted forest wood to produce plastic, contributing to environmental protection. In addition, UPM also participates in the program to collect waste from the ocean to recycle, plan to reduce CO2 emissions, water in the production process.
Alain Cany, President of the European Business Association in Vietnam shared: “Most of the factories of European enterprises in Vietnam are saving energy, using renewable energy, and gradually reducing emissions. to step by step participate in green transformation. Therefore, the products created are environmentally friendly, meeting the requirements of consumers around the world.

In green production, saving energy is a mandatory requirement for enterprises to participate. Currently, many brands around the world have launched a roadmap and committed to using renewable energy and reducing emissions. Accordingly, enterprises in the production chain of each product line must also participate in this program to ensure that the final products reach consumers with clear and environmentally friendly origins.
Vu Duc Giang, Chairman of the Vietnam Textile and Apparel Association, said: “More than 200 major fashion brands in the world have committed to implementing environmental protection programs to combat climate change. Therefore, they require the processing factories, which cooperate with them, to also plan to save energy and use recycled materials. Textile enterprises participating in the program soon will retain fashion brands and have many opportunities to expand production and development."
In Dong Nai, many FDI enterprises are at the forefront of applying modern technology and aiming for circular and green production such as: Bosch, CP, Nestelé, Schaeffler, Ajinomoto, Kaneko, Nok...

Currently, many enterprises in Dong Nai plan to gradually change machines with outdated technology to modern technology machines to increase productivity, product quality, reduce labor and contribute to environmental protection.
