FDI invested in industrial parks is more than USD 900 million

According to the Dong Nai Industrial Zones Authority, in the 10 months of 2022, attracting foreign direct investment (FDI) to industrial parks reached more than USD 900 million, reaching 129% of the year plan. Among the newly attracted projects, there are 23 projects in the field of supporting industries, with a total registered capital of about USD 231 million. Enterprises investing in new projects in the province mostly rent existing factories to produce goods for domestic and export markets.
The field of FDI enterprises invests a lot in plastic, mechanical engineering, food, logistics... with an average investment of nearly 8.7 million USD/ha and the average number of employees is 88 people/ha. There are no projects in the industry with environmental pollution or labor-intensive elements. Attracted FDI projects have advanced technology and use less labor. As of early November 2022, industrial parks have attracted nearly USD 28.5 billion in FDI and disbursed more than USD 22.1 billion.
