According to Dong Nai Statistics Office, currently, the United States is Dong Nai's largest footwear import market, accounting for about 44% of the province's total footwear export turnover. Specifically, in the 10 months of 2022, Dong Nai's enterprises have exported more than USD 4.35 billion of footwear, an increase of more than 1.5 times over the same period last year. The US market alone spends more than USD 1.9 billion to import footwear from Dong Nai.

In addition to the above items, the United States imports many wood products, textiles, fibers, coffee, electronic computers and components, machinery and equipment and spare parts in Dong Nai. In the 10 months of 2022, Dong Nai has exported nearly USD 6.7 billion of goods to the United States, accounting for nearly one third of the province's total export turnover and increasing by more than 30% over the same period last year. Over the years, trade between Dong Nai and the United States has always been expanded and the trade balance has been tilted towards the province. Therefore, this is the largest export and trade surplus market of Dong Nai.
