Revenue from accommodation and food services in the 10 months of 2022 increased sharply

​10-month accommodation, dining services revenue of 2022 soar

According to Dong Nai Statistics Office, in October 2022, the revenue of accommodation and dining services in the province is estimated to be more than 1.7 trillion VND, up nearly 1.6% compared to the previous month.

Overall in 10 months of this year, the revenue of the accommodation and catering sector is estimated at more than 16 trillion VND, up 66.3% compared to the same period last year. Of which, the turnover of accommodation activities is estimated to reach more than 160.2 billion VND, up 13.6% compared to the same period last year.

 
Catering revenue is estimated at 15.9 trillion VND, up more than 67% over the same period last year. The reason for the increased turnover of the accommodation and catering services sector is due to the influence of Covid-19 epidemic in 2021, so business activities in this service sector are limited or suspended for a long time, while this year the operation has been stable from the beginning of the year so revenue increases.
