​Dong Nai exports textile fiber more than USD 1.23 billion

Export turnover of fiber and textile yarns of all kinds in October 2022 was estimated at USD 94 million (accounting for more than 5% of the province's total export turnover), down 33% over the same period last year. Currently, the export market of fiber and textile products of enterprises in the province is to more than 50 countries and territories. However, there are some export markets mainly China; Korea; Taiwan; Bangladesh; Indonesia.

 According to the Department of Industry and Trade, in the 10 months of 2022, the province's export turnover of textile fibers and yarns reached more than USD 1.23 billion, down nearly 16% over the same period last year. In which, most of the province's main export markets fell sharply. The reason is that due to the difficult world economic situation, many textile factories around the world have to reduce production because of the sharp decrease in output. Therefore, factories reduce the import of raw materials from Vietnam as well as other countries. According to some businesses in the field of fibers and textiles in Dong Nai, orders for the end of 2022 and the beginning of 2023 have plummeted by only 60-70% compared to the beginning of the year.
