Commencing the construction of Phuoc An bridge, linking Nhon Trach district (Dong Nai province) and Phu My town (Ba Ria – Vung Tau province)

(CTT-Đong Nai) – On June 18, Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha and representatives from departments, offices and local administrations attended the groundbreaking ceremony of Phuoc An bridge in Phu My town (Ba Ria – Vung Tau province).

Phuoc An bridge goes over Thi Vai river and connects Phu My town (Ba Ria – Vung Tau province) to Nhon Trach district (Dong Nai province). The project’s total length is approximately 4,7 km, with its starting point connects Cai Mep – Thi Vai seaports. The end point links up with a road leading to Phuoc An port. The total bridge's length is around 3,5km, the main bridge span is designed in a sail-like shaped, with navigable height is 55m, the width of the bridge surface is 23.5m, the main bridge surface is 27m to ensure 4 lanes motorized and 2 mixed lanes.

The total project investment is around 4,8 trillion VNĐ, and it is planned to complete in 2027. This is an important project in ensuring the connection between Cai Mep – Thi Vai seaports and the South Eastern and South Western regions​​
