Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung welcomed Federal Minister of Economics and Technology

On July 18th, Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung welcomed Federal Minister of economics and Technology Philipp Roesler on his official visit to Vietnam at Government Office.

Welcoming Minister Philipp Roesler on his official visit in Vietnam, PM Nguyen Tan Dung expressed his delight in Vietnam-Germany relationship which has been developing strongly and positively in all fields, especially after strategic partnership was established on October, 2011.

Highly appreciating the work results between Minister Philipp Roesler and the heads of Ministries and sectors of Vietnam, PM Nguyen Tan Dung affirmed his support to the effective implementation of cooperative agreements between two countries, particularly in some fields that are the strengths of two countries such as infrastructure investment, trade, education and training.

PM Nguyen Tan Dung also confirmed that Vietnam Government would help German investors invest and do business in Vietnam, especially those who invest in production projects or large infrastructures and pilot projects to attract German investment into Vietnam, which is suitable to strategic partnership.

PM Nguyen Tan Dung confirmed that Vietnamese Government would help German investors invest and do business in Vietnam

In order to promote the effectiveness and practicality of cooperation between the two countries, PM Nguyen ​Tan Dung suggested deploying some agreed projects such as the projects of metro line No.2 in Ho Chi Minh City, German House, Vietnam-Germany University and German International School.

The Prime Minister would also like Germany to help Vietnam resolve East Sea issues through peaceful negotiations on the basis of international law.

Highly appreciating the warm hospitality, Mr. Roesler said his visit aims to further strengthen the relationship between the two countries in all fields, especially economics, trade, investment, and education and training.

The Minister emphasized that Germany supports Vietnam in boosting comprehensive co-operation with the European Union (EU) and speeding up the approval process of the Vietnam-EU free trade agreement. He affirmed that Germany was willing to help Vietnam in the fields of finance, science and technology, as well as to increase its development aid to Vietnam or to prmote some big projects between two sides.
