On the occasion of the 50th anniversary for establishing foreign relationship between Vietnam – Laos (September 5th, 2012), the 35th anniversary of signing the treaty of Amity (July 18th, 2012) and “the year for solidarity between Vietnam – Laos”, the delegation of Laos National Academy of Politics and Administration lead by Professor, Dr. Kikẹo Khảykhămphithun, Commissioner of the Central Party, President of the Academy paid a visit to Vietnam from May 30th to June 6th, 2012.
On the evening of May 31st, in Ha Noi, the group met and conversed with many staff generations from Ho Chi Minh Academy of Politics and Administration who had the chance to educate the managerial level of Lao People’s Democratic Republic. Having met with those Vietnamese teachers, the officers from Laos National Academy of Politics and Administration recalled those memorable moments studying at the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics and Administration.
Over the past years, Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics and Administration has taken part in training many officers, students from Laos. With the knowledge obtained from these trainings, they got home actively devoting and contributing to the development of the community of Lao ethnics; also bridging the gap of an everlasting friendship between Vietnam and Laos.
Attending at the meeting, officers, lecturers and trainees of both Academies performed many immortal masterpieces, dances and songs consolidating the foreign relationship between Vietnam and Laos, Laos and Vietnam and the bond between the people of both countries.
On this occasion, the delegation aimed at strengthening the relationship between the two academies, contributing to the bond between the people of the two countries, the exemplary, faithful and precious solidarity which is the "beautiful and special symbol of international relation history".
