Scheme of Economic Restructuring submitted to the Congress by the Prime Minister today

​The third session of Congress was open this morning in Ha Noi. Within a month, the delegates are about to consider and deal with many important issues. This afternoon, The Prime Minister is presenting the overall scheme of Economic Restructuring as planed.


​After the opening speech of the Congress Chairman, Mr Nguyen Sinh Hung, The Government presented the additional report of the implementation result of the Economic and Social Development plan and State budget of 2011, the plan deployment of the Economic and Social Development and State budget of the first months of 2012 to the Congress.
 
Then, Mr. Huynh Dam, the chairman of Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee presented the summary report of voters’ opinions and recommendations.
 
The chairman of Economic Committee presented the verification report on the result of the Economic and Social Development plan and State budget of 2011, as well as the plan deployment in the first months of 2012.

This afternoon, The Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung is presenting the overall scheme of Economic Restructuring as planned.
Taking place from May 21st to June 21st, The 8th Congress is considering, voting for 13 law projects: Law on money laundering prevention, law on University’s Education, law on labor (revision), Vietnam’s maritime law, etc…
 
The Congress is also considering the approval on 7 resolutions and giving comments on 6 law projects; one of those is the resolution of tax solutions in order to deal with corporates’ difficulties and individuals’ problems in 2012, the resolution of unceasing renovation, enhancing quality and effectiveness of the Congress.
 
10 groups of important issues are also being considered in the session, one of those is the overall scheme of Economic Restructuring in association with the transformation of growth pattern… The delegates are also voting for the dismissal of Member of Congress of Long An province, Ms. Dang Thi Hoang Yen.
