10th National Radio Broadcasting Festival 2012 opened on June 13

10th National Radio Broadcasting Festival 2012 was held by the Voice of Vietnam Radio and the Hanoi Radio - Television from 12th – 15th June in Hanoi. This is a bi-annual professional activity of the radio sector to find and honor excellent journalists and works all the country; to celebrate meeting occasions for radio journalists to get to know each other, combine and share journal and technology knowledge, learn from one another  new and modern information technology of Vietnam and the world. 
 

At the press conference of the festival, Mr. Vu Hai – Vice President of the Voice of Vietnam said that: there were 63 radios actively participating in the  10th National Radio Broadcasting Festival, 2 broadcasting boards: the People’s Army and the People’s Security and 14 other units belonging to the Voice of Vietnam. Among 263 works, the organizing committee chose 193 works for the final round. There were 59 reportages, 25 interviews, 41 radio stories, 38 collective programs and 30 live broadcasting programs. Those entries reflected comprehensive reform of the country on such fields as:  polictics, economy, society and culture, national security, national policy and foreign policy and intergration trend of the nation for a new era.

Within the framework of the festival, there were some conferences and training courses of radio journal profession, radio technology, such as: “Broadcast and multi-media” (June 14); “Inheritance and intergration of music on 21st century frequency” (June 15); “quality improvement of radio program for international competence” (June 13 and 14). There was an exhibition of radio – television achievement with paticipation of local and foreign technology equipment factories at the Cultural Friendship Palace from June 13.

10th National Radio Broadcasting Festival 2012 was held at 8 pm, June 13, at the Cultural Friendship Palace and  closed at 8pm June 15. The program will be directly broadcasted on VOV1, television channel of Voice of Vietnam, Hanoi Radio Television and other Northen radio television bands.
