“Resuscitated Hearts” get-together

On the morning of August 5, the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs and Children’s Patron Fund organized an exchange program with the children who have undergone a heart surgery. The program is called “Resuscitated hearts”. Vice chairwoman of the provincial People’s Committee – Huynh Thi Nga – attended the get-together.

Vice chairwoman of the provincial People’s Committee – Huynh Thi Nga and collectives have received certificates of merit for their contributions to the program “For children’s hearts” the past five years

    150 children and families representing more than 330 children, who have undergone a heart surgery in the program "For children’s hearts" during five years had a special get-together. Along with the programs: “For children’s eyes”, “Loan support”, “Scholarship” ... “For children’s hearts” is one of the nine contents in the Resolution no. 67/2004 by the provincial People’s Council during the 2004-2009 period. Over the past five years, the program has provided a full heart examination for more than 400 children and cooperated with Trieu An hospital (in Ho Chi Minh city) in operating 330 children at a total cost of over VND14 billion. After a recent heart examination, the whole province still has 190 poor children with heart diseases. These children will have a surgery. On this occasion, Dong Nai Children’s Patron Fund keeps calling for social communities’ support and assistance in bringing children healthy hearts.

At the get-together, Dong Nai Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs and Dong Nai Children’s Patron Fund awarded certificates of merit to 21 collectives and 2 individuals and golden certificates of merit to the individuals and organizations, who have made many contributions to the program “For children’s hearts”.
