Total Budget revenues attains 118 percent in 2008

On February 18 Afternoon, Department of Finance organized a conference to sum up financial and budget conditions in 2008 and set up its tasks and directions in 2009. The conference was attended by Tran Dinh Thanh - Secretay of The Provincial Party Committee, Vo Van Mot – Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee and leaders of other departments and sectors, districts, Long Khanh Town and Bien Hoa City.

Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee awarded emulation flags to excellent units

 

In 2008, the province gained the total budget revenues of more than VND12.6 thousand billion, up 23 percent over 2007, of which domestic revenues were over VND7.5 thousand billion, import-export revenues was about VND5 thousand billion, revenues earned from budget was VND391bil and budget expenses were more than VND4 thousand billion. Also last year, the department did not settle any expenses that were not in line with regimes, duplicate and so on, which helped save more than VND7 thousand billion. Addressing the conference, Vo Van Mot highly valued the effort the sector made to surpass the targets assigned by the province’s resolutions, and ensure retrenchment and anti-wastefulness, playing a significant role in the socio-economic development of the province. 2009 was a difficult year so the financial sector should make good its shortcomings, retrench, conduct programs with highly effective potential, boost coordination and grasp what would happen timely in order to support the people’s committee for proper leadership in the field of finance, said Mot.
