Vietnamese Teacher's Day: Honoring Ten Elite Teachers in 2010

The ceremony was attended by Deputy Secretary of Dong Nai Party Committee and Vice Chairman of Dong Nai People’s Committee Dinh Quoc Thai.

Dong Nai Party Committee, People’s Council, People’s Committee and Fatherland Front Committee sent a congratulation letter to teachers on the occasion of the 29th Anniversary of Vietnamese Teacher’s Day. Below is an extract from the letter:

"... Teachers and educational administrators have make attempts, improved their professional skills, and continually trained themselves. Thanks to these efforts their educational knowledge and teaching abilities have gradually grown, which partly meets educational renewal requirements and makes contributions to Dong Nai’s educational and training development. Through the “Study and follow the ethical example of President Ho Chi Minh” campaign in associated with the “Every teacher is a moral example, a self-study example and a self-creation example” campaign, a lot of teachers and educational administrators have been examples in “Good teacher, good learner” movement for students. Teachers in far-flung and poor areas with a “For all my beloved students” heart have overcome difficulties, dedicated to taking care of and educating their students, and gradually improved teaching quality. Thereby, teachers and educational administrators have gradually fostered the Party, the State and people’s trust for them and teachers’ teaching role is strengthened. This contributes to satisfying the demand for human resources for the country’s industrialization and modernization”

Addressing the ceremony, Mr. Dinh Quoc Thai extended his congratulations to all teachers and educational administrators and staff.

Also, Thai requested that Education and Training pay more attention to improving teachers’ quality, to increasing its educational size, to developing an appropriate education system and to improving educational quality at all levels of school and at all majors with the aim of implementing its comprehensive educational mission successfully.

This year, Dong Nai is honored to have additional ten teachers and educational administrators to obtain Elite Teacher title as follows:

+ Mr. Ngo Cung, Principal of Vinh Tan Elementary School in Vinh Cuu district.

+ Ms. Le Thi Minh Chau, Principal of Culture and Art School of Dong Nai.

+ Mr. Nguyen Dinh Chien, Chief Inspector of Dong Nai Department of Education and Training.

+ Ms. Pham Thi Hai, Deputy Director of Department of Education and Training.

+ Ms. Nguyen Thi Hue, Vice Principal of An Binh Kindergarten, Long Khanh town.

+ Ms. Tran My Van, Principal of Vo Truong Toan Secondary School in Vinh Cuu district.

+ Mr. Truong Huy Quang, Teacher of Luong The Vinh Gifted High School in Bien Hoa.

+ Ms. Cao Thi En, Teacher of Ngo Quyen High School in Bien Hoa city.

+ Ms. Nguyen Thi Dap, Principal of Long Thanh High School in Long Thanh district.

+ Mr. Le Van Hung, Head of Education and Training in Bien Hoa city.
