Dong Nai province: Summing up patriotic emulation movement 2007 and launching movement 2008

Organizations having high achievements receives emulation flag conferred by Viet Nam General Confederation of Labor Union (VGCL)

        The patriotic emulation movement 2007 among cadres and workers in Dong Nai province this year attracted 120.000 attendants and provided a lot of benefits for the State. The emulation movement was widely taken place at all levels, sectors, agencies and enterprises. Typically, Dong Nai College of Education successfully carried out the movement entitled “Good Teaching, Good Learning”. In the movement 2007, 3 individuals received certificates of merit conferred by the Prime Minister; 115 organizations and individuals were awarded emulation flags and certificates of merit by VGCL; and 5 individuals received certificates of merit by provincial People’s Committee, etc.

        However, the movement 2007 still remained some shortcomings. For example, the mobilization was not wide enough, and the criteria were too general.

        At the summing-up ceremony, Dong Nai Labor Union mobilized the emulation movement 2008 in order to implement the socio-economic targets of the province in 2008 and to gain excellent achievements welcoming the 8th Dong Nai province Trade Union Congress and the 10th Vietnam Trade Union Congress.
