Dong Nai spends over VND426 billion to develop traffic infrastructure

In 2007, Dong Nai province spent over VND426 billion to develop traffic infrastructure in the districts, Long Khanh town and Bien Hoa city. More than VND173 billion of the total came from the provincial budget, VND228.8 billion from local budget and the remaining VND23.8 billion contributed by the local people.

Over VND61 billion was spent to build rural roads

        The money was spent to upgrade over 155.7 km of traffic road and repair around 1,600 km of road of all kinds. Many key projects have completed and put into use such as the roads of Dong Kim-Xuan Thien and Thanh Tam-Thac Reo in Thong Nhat district, Xuan Truong-Xuan Tho in Xuan Loc district, 908 Hung Vuong (Prolonged) street in Long Khanh town, etc. Some localities, including Nhon Trach , Bien Hoa, Cam My and Long Thanh, invested a large amount of money in traffic infrastructure projects. Accordingly, Nhon Trach district spent VND78.3 billion, Bien Hoa city VND59 billion, Cam My district nearly VND70 billion and Long Thanh district VND42.8 billion. Besides, the districts, town and city mobilized more than VND61 billion to built 94 km of rural roads in remote areas.
