Delegation of Taipei Economic and Cultural Office pays a working visit to Dong Nai province

On the late afternoon of April 23, Vo Van Mot – Chairperson of provincial People’s Committee had a working session with the delegation of Taipei Economic and Cultural Office (Taiwan) led by Yang Sy Kung  - new head of the delegation.

        At the working session, Chairperson Vo Van Mot reported the situation of socio-economic development in Dong Nai province over the past years. He emphasized the cooperation between Taiwan and Dong Nai province, which achieved good results. He also highly appreciated the garbage treatment model with the combination of swimming pools and playgrounds in Taiwan.

        On behalf of the delegation of Taipei Economic and Cultural Office (Taiwan), Yang Sy Kung was very pleased with the remarkable achievements of the cooperation between Vietnam and Taiwan over the past time. He hoped that the relationship between the two sides would be better in the future. He said that the number of Taiwan enterprises in Dong Nai province has been larger than in the whole country. Therefore, his visit was to understand the policy of Vietnam in order to support Taiwan enterprises in dealing with shortcomings in the investment process. Chairperson Vo Van Mot also promised to consider the problems mentioned by Yang Sy Kung.

        The two sides approved that the relationship among leaders of Provincial People’s Committee, Taipei Economic and Cultural Office, and Taiwan enterprises would be much better in the future. After this working session, the delegation will continue their working visit in Ho Chi Minh City.
