Priority and spearhead industries of Dong Nai Province for the 2007-2010 period with a vision to 2020

Accordingly, during 2007-2010, priority industries include textile and garment (silk, fabrics, exported clothing, raw and auxiliary materials); leather and footwear (exported footwear, raw and auxiliary materials). In the 2007-15 period, these industries include plastics (domestic-use plastics, packings, bottles, jars, pipes, etc.; technical plastics); processing of agricultural products (sugar canes, vegetables, meat, livestock and fowls, coffee, cotton); processing of wood, wood and bamboo-species products and straw and plaiting-material products; steel (steel draft, special-use steel), exploitation and processing of aluminum bauxite; and in the years 2007-20, they include chemicals (base chemicals, fertilizers, petro-chemistry, pharmaco-chemistry, cosmetics).

Spearhead industries in the 2007-2020 period include mechanical-engineering (automobile, ship building, agricultural machines, electronic mechanics); electronic, telecommunications and information technology equipment; and products from new technologies (new energy, recycle energy, software industry and digital content).
