Industrial Production Value of September 2007 rose 17%

According to Dong Nai Industry Department, the Industrial Production Value (IPV) of September 2007 reached 5,415 VND billion, 17 percent higher than last month and was estimated to rise 22 percent compared to the same period, as high as 74.1 percent of the year’s plan.

In 9 months of 2007, the IPV of the Central industry rose 12 percent with 10/13 secondary industries and 29 enterprises whose production rates were estimated to rise compared to the same period. IPV of the local state-owned industry increased by 12.6 percent with 8/13 enterprises whose production rates were higher than those in the same period were. The production value of privately owned industry went up 21.4 percent and that of foreign-invested industry particularly continued with high increase, reaching 24.7 percent compared to the same period with 21 branches whose production rates all rose.

The industry’s objective to the end of 2007 is to strive for exceeding 3.3 percent of the year’s plan and rising 22.4 percent compared to 2006. To obtain this goal, the industry worked out some solutions such as: intensifying the local industry planning to 2010, continuously improving the efficiency in state management on the basis of closely collaboration between sectors; speeding up the construction of infrastructure works especially ones used for sewage treatment; developing human resource training and so on
