At present, the average waste water flow is estimated more than 60,000 cubic meters/ day and night. Currently only 9 Industrial zones have possessed the concentrated waste water treatment plants in operation. The remaining ones have not had that kind of system. Those Industrial zones’ enterprises have to treat waste water by themselves so as to satisfy prescribed criteria before discharging it into final sources.
In general, most waste water treatment plants have not had automatic control equipment. Supervising and examining human resources as well as measurement devices are still limited. Therefore, the quality of output waste water from the enterprises has not been ensured to meet the prescribed criteria.
